Summary
Jersey’s Waste Water Strategy sets out a 20 year plan to upgrade and improve Jersey’s waste water collection, treatment and disposal system, with particular focus on the replacement of the existing sewage treatment works at Bellozanne, so that the collection, treatment and disposal of waste water in Jersey is in accordance with the future needs of the Island whilst complying with legal obligations and States of Jersey policies.
The proposals set out in the report are based on a significant number of investigations, surveys, reports and modelling work that have been carried out in the preceding four years which have identified the issues and how best they can be addressed.
