Summary

​​​Building a Safer Society (BASS) has three strategic priorities, each with their own objectives:

  • to create a safer environment by reducing crime, public disorder and anti-social behaviour
  • to provide people with opportunities to develop their potential as lifelong learners, and active and responsible members of society
  • to reduce the harm caused by drugs, alcohol and solvents
This annual report sets out progress made against these objectives and provides information about the work undertaken by BASS.
