Government has published a revised action plan setting out how it intends to address the recommendations of the Innovation Review.
The action plan has been revised following feedback on a draft plan which was published for comment in November 2015. The revised action plan also includes updates on progress to date.
The Innovation Review was a major independent review which was carried out in 2015 to look at innovation in Jersey and the impact this has on the economy.
The review was led by Tera Allas, a recognised expert in innovation policy who has advised the UK and the OECD on innovation strategy.
An implementation team has been formed within the States of Jersey to develop an action plan and lead on implementing the recommendations.
The team includes officers from the Chief Minister’s and Economic Development Departments, supported closely by a number of delivery partners both inside and outside government.
You can download the Innovation Review: Action Plan using the link below. It uses the RAG (Red, Amber, Green) system to monitor the progress of each of the recommendations.
If you have any questions or comments on the action plan, contact the implementation team, or share your thoughts about the plan and about innovation in Jersey on Twitter using #JsyInnov.
Progress on the action plan will be updated regularly online and an annual progress report will be published, starting in late 2016 / early 2017.
