The Education Department launched it's first new-look Business Plan in 2015 setting out 42 action points.  This gave a plan, a direction and a journey to follow. Some actions are complete and some are still being worked on.

So what’s different in this update?

• it shows that the focus has been maintained. Standards, curriculum, families and autonomy (greater freedoms for schools) are still the priorities
• it lists progress so far, new projects and how success will be measured in the future
