Summary
This report reviews the current situation with non-native species in the local marine environment, and assesses any threat that they might pose. The report summarises the non-native marine species that are present in the Channel Islands and horizon scans for other species that might reach the islands in the near future.
This report was prepared by the Marine Resources section as part of a wider review and analysis of all available data and information relating to Jersey's marine environment. The report provides baseline information that can be incorporated into a wider departmental strategy on non-native species.
