Summary
The JCPC Information Sharing Protocol facilitates information exchange between States departments.
The purpose of this protocol is to facilitate the exchange of information in order to safeguard the welfare of children or vulnerable adults, including victims of domestic violence. This protocol will also provide the basis to facilitate information exchange relating to the role of the Serious Cases Sub-Committee. In this respect each signatory to this protocol will undertake to protect the confidentiality and security of all shared information by adopting best practice principles and ensuring compliance with Data Protection and Human Rights legislation.
