​​The strategy was developed in partnership with Dementia Jersey. It is Jersey’s first dementia strategy.

The strategy sets out 5 key priorities to develop and improve the support available to people living with a dementia, and their families or care-partners.

• raising awareness of brain health and of dementia
• diagnosing well
• supporting people with a dementia and their families
• developing, valuing and supporting the workforce
• supporting Jersey to become a dementia-friendly and inclusive Island

Key actions are outlined that when implemented, will result in improved information, support, and quality of care, and will build on the strong community foundations of which our Island is proud.
