Director of Public Health Annual Report Executive Summary 2024​

​​​​The director’s annual report highlights areas of concern for the population’s health advocates for change to support the health and wellbeing of the population.

This year’s report considers the case for prevention in the Jersey context. 

The chapters detail:

• ​the current burden of disease faced by Islanders
• how that burden is not equally spread across the Island
• how the Island’s population is aging and its likely impact on our future health
• an estimate of the costs of this aging population
