Summary
The purpose of this report is to:
- provide more up-to-date knowledge on housing supply
- allow comparisons with identified requirements for new homes in the Island Plan
- assist in ensuring that an adequate supply of suitable housing will be available to meet the community’s needs
It is the intention to provide regular monitoring reports on housing land availability and the performance of related planning policies over the Plan period of the 2011 Island Plan.
