Summary
Jersey's resident population at the end of 2012 was estimated as 99,000.
During the 2012 calendar year:
- the resident population increased by 900 people
- net inward migration accounted for 500 of this latest annual increase
- natural growth (the excess of births over deaths) accounted for the remaining 400
The 2012 report also includes information on past population estimates and net migration from 2000 onwards.
