Autumn Booster 2024
In line with the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), islanders eligible for a booster vaccination this autumn are:
- residents in a care home for older adults
- all adults aged 65 years and over
- persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book
- health and social care workers
- staff working in care homes for older adults
The Covid-19 Autumn Booster programme has been aligned with the start of the Flu vaccination programme, with both planned to be available from 7 October 2024.
Check with your GP for the planned start and end dates of their campaign.
