Guidance on the cranes and lifting appliances (Jersey) regulations 1978 Forms on cranes and lifting appliances Some regulations under the Cranes and Lifting Appliances (Jersey) Regulations 1978 require statutory examinations to be carried out on cranes and certain lifting appliances. Approved particulars which must be included in every certificate of test and thorough examination of a crane or prescribed lifting appliance: CLA.1 Approved particulars which must be contained in the report of the results of every thorough examination of a crane or prescribed lifting appliance: CLA.2 Approved particulars which must be included in the report of every test carried out on the security of the anchorage or the adequacy of the ballasting of a crane: CLA.3 Approved particulars which must be included in every report of the results of every test or thorough examination of an automatic safe load indicator: CLA.4 Approved particulars which must be included in every certificate of test and thorough examination of a chair, skip or other receptacle: CLA.5 Certificate of competency of operator of a crane, excavator, fork lift truck, mechanical grab, mechanical shovel, and piling machine: CLA.6
