A Review of Jersey's Economy

A full analysis of the Island’s economy has been published today by the States Economics Unit.The aim of the document is to provide comprehensive information for States members in advance of next week’s Budget debate, so they have the latest analysis of the Island’s economic landscape to inform their decisions next Tuesday.

The Review shows that the Island faces the best economic conditions since the late 1990s. It examines the return to economic growth and the influences on it; the productivity of the Island’s labour force; the causes of inflation and progress in curbing its rise, as well as Jersey’s position in the global context.
