Jersey Harbours are pleased to confirm that ramp permit issued to HD Ferries and Northern Marine has now been re-instated.
Officers from the department have been working closely with HD Ferries through last night and today to successfully address issued identified by the Port State Control Inspection.
Changes have been made to operational procedures which will be kept under close review over the coming weeks to ensure that the vessel continues to operate safely.
Chief Executive and Harbourmaster, Howard Le Cornu, says “We are delighted that HD Ferries have managed to overcome the issues raised and that the ship is now ready to re-enter service. The service has been missed during this busy time of year for visitors and local travellers alike”
