Transport and Technical Services (TTS) will be temporarily closing the La Collette Reclamation Site to deliveries of inert waste from Friday 28 November at 2.15 pm until Tuesday 2 December 2008 at 7.30 am.
This is necessary to relocate the weighbridges to make the area available for the construction of the new Energy from Waste Plant, which is expected to start early in the New Year.
During the temporary closure, the weighbridges which weigh all traffic in and out of the site will be moved to a new location on the south of the reclamation site.
Access to the Aggregates Recycling Centre managed by A A Langlois and to the Commercial Permit Parking Areas will not be affected. The Public Green Waste Recycling Site will also be open as usual.
