The States of Jersey Statistics Unit has today (16
th December) released
Jersey Economic Trends 2009
. This booklet brings together the economic data released during the year into a single source. It covers three main areas - the economy, employment and prices.
Within each section Jersey Economic Trends covers the headline data such as Gross Value Added, numbers in employment and the RPI but adds more to the understanding of the Jersey economy by looking at measures such as Gross Value Added per employee, and comparisons of prices and earnings. In addition the booklet provides more background information on the sources of the data and recent trends.
