21 August 2009
Special arrangements have been made at Mont Millais to allow students to collect their GCSE results on Thursday 27 August. Transport and Technical Services (TTS) will allow A Le Sech (Asphalt) Ltd extended working hours on Monday 24 August and Tuesday 25 August 2009 to enable resurfacing works to be substantially complete by Wednesday 26 August 2009. This will give students unrestricted access on Thursday 27 August 2009.
The working hours for Monday and Tuesday will now be:
9.00am to 9.30am Lane Closures using Stop/Go signs (through traffic permitted)
9.30am to 5.00pm Road Closure (no through traffic permitted)
During the road closure, road-users are asked to continue following the existing diversions up and down St Saviour’s Hill or Wellington Road. The only access permitted is to residences.
No additional costs will be incurred for permitting access to students by the change in working hours.
TTS hopes that road-users are already enjoying the completed sections of Mont Millais and looks forward to the imminent completion of the resurfacing works, providing a good quality, durable road surface. We regret any inconvenience caused by these essential maintenance works.
