The Chief Minister is pleased that the Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel’s review of the Waterfront Enterprise Board has come out in favour of proposals for its reform.
Senator Terry Le Sueur says: “The panel’s review is very welcome. The Council of Ministers supports its recommendations and we will try to include them in proposals, currently being finalised, to revise the structure of WEB.
“The newly composed agency will play a key role in regenerating St Helier, and we want to work with the panel to ensure proper accountability and transparency and to achieve the best outcomes for Jersey.
“We will take on board the panel’s comments, together with the recommendations of the Comptroller and Auditor General, to decide on the best way to manage this major regeneration project.”
