Events include:
- PJ party storytime at 11am on Friday 4 June. Children are being urged to come in their pyjamas and to bring their teddies along to join in the fun
- Animal Fun - What’s your favourite storybook animal? Join us for a craft activity on Wednesday 2 June at 2pm at Jersey Library or Thursday 3 June at 10.30am at Les Quennevais Branch Library. Age 4 and up. Admission is free, but by ticket only – tickets available from the libraries
- Design a Beast competition - Create a magical beast and you could win tickets to see Beauty and the Beast at the Opera House (if your beast is scary enough)
The libraries will also have their usual pre-school storytimes at 11am on Tuesdays, and 2pm on Thursdays or 2pm on Wednesdays at Les Quennevais branch library.
Linne Omissi, Senior Librarian, Young Reader’s Department, says “Sharing bedtime stories with children not only strengthens family bonds but help children develop language skills, confidence and stimulates imagination. So go on, share a book tonight. ”
