Senator Ozouf is to hold a lunchtime public meeting about the Fiscal Strategy Review on Wednesday 21 July, from 1 - 2pm at St Paul’s Centre.
More than 550 people have responded to the Fiscal Strategy Review consultation in its first month. The consultation into the options for changes to personal tax was launched on June 21 and continues until August 30.
Most respondents have given their views online using a questionnaire, but there have also been responses collated from 4 public meetings and a number of emails and letters received by the Treasury.
The Treasury Minister, Senator Ozouf, said “This is a very important debate about how tax and spending will affect the future prosperity of our Island and its citizens. I would urge anyone who can spare an hour from their working day to attend on Wednesday so I can hear their views on the different options for personal taxation.”
