The Minister for Health and Social Services, Deputy Anne Pryke, has issued the following statement about the signing of a reciprocal health agreement between the UK and the Isle of Man:
“The signing of an agreement between the Isle of Man and the UK is very good news for us in Jersey as it demonstrates that the UK government is open to negotiating new health agreements and I am pleased to be able to confirm that we continue to be active in our discussions with UK officials.
“The agreement with the Isle of Man provides a helpful template for these discussions and I hope that a new agreement will soon be in place for the benefit of Islanders who visit the UK and for families and tourists who visit us here in Jersey.”
