The revised timetable for the winter bus service will come into operation on Sunday 3 October and run until May 2011. It will feature a number of improvements to previous winter timetables and includes extra Sunday services and departure times on certain routes. In particular, an earlier departure of the bus to the airport (Service 15) that will arrive at the airport at 6.00am in time to catch the first flights of the day.
Connétable Mike Jackson, the Minister for Transport and Technical Services, said “I had some very positive feedback from the public, when proposals for the winter timetable went out to consultation. All the proposals have been accepted and incorporated in the new timetable.”
