Households get census information

All households in Jersey will receive census information leaflets in good time for the census on Sunday 27 March 2011.

The leaflets will be delivered by a team of 166 enumerators who will all carry a census photo identity badge. The enumerators will also be making sure that every residential address in Jersey is included in the census.

Dr Duncan Gibaut, Head of the States of Jersey Statistics Unit, said “There is no need for the public to feel anxious about any aspect of the census; the leaflet explains the importance and confidentiality of the data collected and details where the public can get further information.”
