2 drivers were involved in a collision on St Aubin's Inner Road on Sunday (31 July).
The driver of one of the vehicles was found to be unconscious at the scene and was initially treated by an off duty firefighter who lived nearby until paramedics and fire crews arrived. They stabilised the vehicle and cut the casualty to safety then transferred them to the waiting ambulance.
The second driver escaped from their vehicle relatively unharmed. They were treated at the scene for shock and minor injuries.
The accident happened outside Pinocchio's Restaurant at 1:30pm.
Jersey Police are investigating the cause.
