A new Human Resources Director has been appointed for the States.
Following a competitive recruitment process, approved by the Jersey Appointments Commission, Mark Sinclair has been appointed to the post and is due to start on 3 October 2011.
Mr Sinclair is a Human Resources and Organisational Development professional whose career to date has centred on generalist Human Resource management, Strategic Change Management, Leadership and Organisational Development.
He is currently the Executive Director Human Resources and Strategic Change for NHS Grampian and NHS Orkney.
The States Acting Chief Executive, John Richardson, said: "I am very pleased to welcome Mark onto the team. I am sure his experience and expertise will be invaluable as we work to modernise the public sector in the coming years."
Mr Sinclair’s previous public sector career has included Senior HR Director roles in Higher Education and Acute Hospitals. He has also worked as a Senior HR Director/ Manager in private sector, blue chip, specialist chemical, oil and gas organisations.
His education includes RMA Sandhurst and he has an MBA.
