A 14 year old was treated for smoke inhalation following a small fire in a St Helier flat at the weekend.
Two fire service crews were called to the fire late last night (2 December 2012) after residents were alerted by a fire alarm.
Firefighters quickly dealt with a small fire in the lounge and ambulance paramedics treated the 14 year old before transferring the youth to the General Hospital for precautionary checks.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
