Deputy Andrew Green has thanked the Health, Social Security and Housing Sub Panel for its comprehensive review of the policy issues outlined in the department's white paper; ‘Achieving Decent Homes - An Affordable Housing Framework for the Future’.
The Minister said "I am delighted that the panel has acknowledged the strong set of proposals contained within the white paper and that it reflects the culmination of many years of thought, consultation and planning.
"I think it is also important to acknowledge the significant work of all those within the wider housing transformation team in developing these proposals."
Deputy Green continued "The report sets out the panel's findings on 6 areas for consideration and these will need detailed review by my department as we develop proposals for consideration by the States Assembly.
"I believe it would be helpful to summarise my immediate thoughts on the 6 areas to confirm to the panel, States Members and the public that the policy development process currently underway will address all the areas identified.”
