Temporary change to patient parking

From Monday 27 February, the entrance to the hospital patient and permit areas in Patriotic Street multi-storey car park will be closed for 4 days and an alternative entrance will be provided.

Users of this area of the car park are being asked to approach the car park up Patriotic Street from the Esplanade and follow the signs to the temporary entrance (the existing exit to the hospital parking area).

This closure is required due to essential maintenance that needs to be carried out on manhole covers.

An alternative exit will also be in operation by using the ramp at the hospital end of the car park and then exiting on to Newgate Street.

Car park staff will be on hand to assist the public in familiarising themselves with the temporary arrangements.
