The Taxes Office has announced that taxpayers can now pay online for the following taxes:
- Income Tax (Personal and Business Tax)
- Employer ITIS
- Domestic GST
- ISE fees
This is the second phase of a Treasury initiative, which started in 2012, to enable Islanders to make a range of payments online.
More efficient
Acting Comptroller of Taxes, David Le Cuirot, said “The Taxes Office has introduced a number of online facilities that are intended to make paying taxes easier and more effficient.
“This has several benefits, from making life more convenient for indvidual taxpayers to reducing compliance costs for business. This new facility provides a quick and convenient way for people to make payments in a secure online environment.”
More e-business
The Taxes office has further e-business initiatives planned over the next two years, including online filing of personal tax returns (through agents) later this year and all personal taxpayers in 2014.
