Islanders are invited to give their views on a proposal to install a pedestrian island on La Route de St Aubin at Bel Royal.
The new island, which would be next to Bel Royal Garage, would make it easier and safer for pedestrians who would be able to cross each carriageway individually.
Three car parking spaces would be lost to create space for the island, but it would also substantially improve safety for large vehicles, especially buses that are currently forced to cross the white line when travelling eastwards.
