29 September 2014
The equal marriage and partnership consultation is now available in Polish and Portuguese.
The translated versions of the consultation, which is open for responses from all Islanders until 22 October 2014, are available to collect from Cyril Le Marquand House and on this website.
The purpose of the consultation is to give as many Islanders as possible the opportunity to comment on the legal options which would be available if Jersey was to introduce same-sex marriage. It also looks at other issues related to equal marriage, such as humanist marriage and the potential introduction of civil partnerships for couples of the opposite-sex.
Islanders are also able to register to attend one of two public meetings by calling or emailing the Chief Minister's Department.
