Jersey's latest retail sales figures have been published by the Statistics Unit
17 September 2014 On an annual basis:the seasonally adjusted total volume of retail sales in Jersey in Q2 2014 was 1% lower than in the corresponding quarter of 2013the volume of retail sales in the predominantly food sector was 1% higher than the corresponding quarter of 2013the volume of retail sales in the predominantly non-food sector was 2% lower than in the corresponding quarter of 2013 and a sixth (17%) lower than the peak volume recorded six years previously, in Q2 2008 On a quarterly basis:the seasonally adjusted total volume of retail sales in Q2 2014 was less than 1% lower than in the previous quarter (Q1 2014)the volume of retail sales in the predominantly food sector was at the same level as in the previous quarter (Q1 2014)the volume of retail sales in the predominantly non-food sector was 1% lower than in the previous quarter (Q1 2014) Download retail sales report Q2 2014 (size 149 kb)
