Traffic flows to the east of St Helier will be affected by two essential infrastructure projects which start on La Rue a Don next Monday [6 January] and Greve d'Azette on Wednesday [8 January].
Transport and Technical Services (TTS) begin resurfacing La Rue a Don (and Longueville Road) between La Rue des Pres and Le Chemin du Radier on 6 January. This phase of the project is expected to finish early in February.
The JEC resume duct laying along Greve d’Azette on 8 January and are expected to complete the project in March.
Both projects are being managed so that delays are minimised, particularly during morning commutes, but motorists are advised to expect some delays and to allow more time for their journeys during the day and the early evening.
