Provisional GCSE results published today show Jersey students have performed well compared to their English counterparts.
The percentage of entries into GCSE subjects that resulted in grades A* to C was 76.7% in Jersey.
The Education Department will be producing a detailed statistical report on Island wide GCSE performance later on in the year.
Education, Sport and Culture Minister Rod Bryans said "Today’s results show Jersey students and schools have performed really well in 2015. Congratulations go to all the students and teachers who have worked so hard to achieve these results."
This year a total of 1,043 students sat GCSE examinations in the Island. The figures include GCSE exams taken in all Jersey secondary schools.

Once appeals and re-marks have been completed, individual secondary schools will publish adjusted results after the autumn half term. These more accurate figures will be posted by each school on their websites and will include relevant contextual information. Links will be available from this website.
