Fewer parking spaces in Green Street

Green Street car park will have 60 fewer parking spaces available on Thursday 22 January 2015.

Commuters who use Green Street Car Park should consider allowing more time for their journey, particularly if they usually arrive after about 8.45am and usually have to park on the top floor. These people may find it quicker to go straight to Pier Road Car Park.

The contractor working on the new Police HQ will be using the better weather forecast to lay concrete on this level of the car park on Thursday.

Transport and Technical Services will have parking control officers on duty on the day to advise and redirect drivers once the car park fills in the morning and they will contact the media, so that radio updates can be provided to the public.
