The Philippine Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Enrique A Manalo, will visit Jersey on 16 and 17 March 2015.
Officials from the Philippine Embassy will arrive in the Island on 14 March 2015, prior to the Ambassdor's visit, in order to hold a consular outreach event for Jersey’s Filipino residents at the Town Hall.
The Ambassador will meet the Chief Minister, Senator Ian Gorst; the External Relations Minister, Senator Sir Philip Bailhache; and the Health Minister, Senator Andrew Green. He will also meet the Lieutenant-Governor, General Sir John McColl, and will be the guest of honour at a dinner hosted by the Bailiff, William Bailhache.
On 14 March, the Philippine Embassy’s consular outreach team will be available at the Town Hall between 10am and 6pm to offer the following services to Filipino nationals:
- passport application
- Philippine overseas voter registration
- civil registration (registration of birth, marriage or death)
- legalisation of documents
- Philippine citizenship retention/re-acquisition
- Home Development Mutual Fund membership services.
The Ambassador will also visit Rouge Bouillon School, meet staff at the General Hospital and attend a reception for Filipino nationals at the Société Jersiaise.
