The Bailiff, William Bailhache, is inviting Islanders to observe the national one minute's silence at midday on Friday 3 July 2015, to remember the victims of the beach terrorist attack in Tunisia.
"I would encourage all Islanders to observe a minute's silence as we remember those who perished in this dreadful attack on innocent lives and to reflect on the impact this has had on their immediate families and friends who have lost loved ones in the most traumatic of circumstances. As a peace-loving island nation, we express our shock and outrage at this crime and extend our deepest sympathy to those most closely affected by it," said Mr Bailhache.
