The Minister for Infrastructure, Deputy Eddie Noel, has approved the acquisition of fields in three separate ownerships at Les Quennevais that form part of the site needed for the construction of the proposed new Les Quennevais Secondary School.
In addition to these three fields, the sale to the public of a field in the ownership of the parish church authorities was approved at the last meeting of the St Brelade’s Parish Assembly.
The States are also discussing acquisition of the remaining land interests with owners and hope to complete all the acquisitions in the near future.
