Schools are continuing to review their contingency plans on a regular basis ahead of the proposed industrial action among Civil Servants on Friday, 7 December, between 9-11am.
The Children, Young People, Education and Skills Department (CYPES) have been supporting schools to update their risk assessments and contingency plans since the action was announced.
Schools and the Department are committed to doing everything possible to avoid the interruption of learning for children and young people, but the main priority is for their safety at school.
Head teachers have informed parents and carers of their plans. These are set out in the table below.
