Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré, has received the report from the Hospital Policy Development Board, which has now been presented to the Council of Ministers.
The Board, which was formed in July and is chaired by Assistant Chief Minister, Connétable Christopher Taylor, was tasked by the Chief Minister with reviewing the decision to build a new hospital on the existing site, made by the previous Council of Ministers and the States Assembly.
The findings and recommendations of the report will be considered by the Council of Ministers over the coming weeks.
Senator Le Fondré said: “I am grateful to the members of the Hospital Policy Development Board for their hard work over the past four months. The Council of Ministers will carefully study and debate the report before deciding how to respond to its recommendations.”
The report is published on the Hospital Policy Development Board web page.
