Islanders with views about the planning application for Jersey’s new hospital are being urged to contact the inquiry’s independent inspector by 6 July.
The inquiry, led by an independent inspector, Philip Staddon, will start on 17 September 2018 and is expected to last for up to a week. The inquiry will provide a structured opportunity to explore the planning issues in depth to ensure the application is consistent with policy.
The inquiry team wants to hear from any resident, business or organisation with views about the planning application for the new hospital. Submissions can be in favour of the planning proposal, against it, or be neutral.
Submissions can be spoken or written and the team will ensure that anyone who wants to speak at the hearing gets the chance to do so.
The inquiry will be open to the public and people can attend for all or any part of it. It will be held in an open and inclusive in approach and accessible to anyone who wants to take part.
Islanders who wish to submit comments to or speak at the inquiry must contact the inquiry’s independent inspector before the 6 July deadline for submissions.
