Government Christmas opening times

Islanders are being reminded to check the opening times of Government of Jersey services over the Christmas period.  Many public-facing services will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and will be open for reduced hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Chief Executive of the Government of Jersey, Charlie Parker said: “Many of our public-facing services will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, to enable our staff to spend quality time with their loved ones.

“However, many of our colleagues at the General Hospital and in other parts of the Health and Community Services, in the emergency services, in Customs and Immigration, and at HMP La Moye will be at work over the Christmas period to ensure that vital services continue to run smoothly. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and dedication.”

Services will remain open as usual, with the following exceptions:
