Statement from the Department for Children, Young People, Education and Skills

The Department for Children Young People, Education and Skills have been advised of the following:

Les Landes School
A student who attends Les Landes Primary School has tested positive for Covid-19 on 28 November 2020. 
 
The school has contacted parents and the year group has been asked to remain at home today as a precautionary measure to allow the testing process to be completed.  

St Luke’s School
A student who attends St Luke’s Primary School has tested positive for Covid-19 on 29 November 2020. 
 
The school has contacted parents and the year group has been asked to remain at home today as a precautionary measure to allow the testing process to be completed.  

Jersey College Prep
A student who attends Jersey College Prep has tested positive for Covid-19 on 29 November 2020. 
 
The school has contacted parents and the year group has been asked to remain at home today as a precautionary measure to allow the testing process to be completed.  

Jersey College for Girls
We have been advised that a member of staff at Jersey College for Girls has tested positive for Covid-19 on 28 November 2020. 
 
The school has contacted parents and staff and direct contacts of the member of staff have been asked to remain at home today and continue to isolate as a precautionary measure to allow the testing process to be completed.  

A student who attends Jersey College for Girls has also tested positive for Covid-19 on 28 November 2020.

The school has contacted parents and the year group has been asked to remain at home today as a precautionary measure to allow the testing process to be completed

De La Salle College
A part-time member of staff at De La Salle College has tested positive for Covid-19 on 29 November 2020. 
 
Updated 30 November, 10:25: No students at De La Salle College are required to isolate today due to the latest confirmed case involving a part-time member of staff. 

The Contact Tracing team will be offering COVID-19 tests to students on-site at the College for Years 7 and above. 

The schools and colleges have been deep cleaned and will remain open following advice from Environmental and Public Health.
 
To protect the identities and privacy of the students and members of staff we will not be commenting further.
