Health and Community Services can confirm that there has been another death in Jersey linked to Coronavirus. This is the Island’s third death linked to COVID-19.
The patient was in their late sixties with underlying health conditions. Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported at this sad time.
The Minister for Health and Social Services, Deputy Richard Renouf, said: “I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. It is always sad to lose a loved one and I am sure we all feel sympathy for their loss.
“Health and Community Services will not be releasing any further information in order to protect the privacy of the deceased and their family.”
