Jersey Library is looking for creative Islanders to help design a garden for the Communicare Library.
Islanders are being asked to help find creative ways to make the most out of the outdoor space at the library and the aim is to inspire visitors to relax and read in the outside area.
Chief Librarian, Ed Jewell said: "we are fortunate to have an outdoor space at the Communicare Library and are looking to work with the community to create an inviting area for readers of all ages to relax and enjoy a good book or a captivating story.
You don't have to be a designer or artist, which makes this is an excellent opportunity for all Islanders to express their creativity and bring a fresh dimension to the already fantastic community resource that is the Communicare Library."
Designs should be submitted by Sunday 16 May and the winning designers will be invited to the launch of the garden and library in the summer.
More information can be found on the Jersey Library Facebook page or at www.culture.je.
