Islanders have until Friday evening to submit their feedback on the concept designs for Jersey’s new hospital at Overdale.
The virtual public exhibition, which opened in May, enables visitors to see and understand the emerging designs, learn about the internal feel and flow of the hospital, and see how the building has influenced the creation of new gardens and public spaces, as well as the benefits it has for the wider surrounding area.
To date, more than 1,800 Islanders have visited the exhibition and viewed the designs, which were formed following extensive community engagement, including working with nearby residents, senior clinicians, a health workers’ panel and the Our Hospital Citizens’ Panel.
Chair of the Our Hospital Political Oversight Group Senator Lyndon Farnham said: “Islanders have already given the design and delivery partner valuable feedback via the exhibition during this important phase of the project. The information they receive will help further refine the concept designs before the full planning application submission in the autumn.”
