24 September 2021
From Tuesday 28 September, Jersey will accept negative pre-departure PCR tests from all countries. Previously only negative PCR tests from the UK were accepted.
Passengers must complete the usual pre-departure form when travelling into Jersey. Passengers should declare on the form that they have completed or will be completing a pre-departure PCR test and will be bringing evidence of the negative test result to be checked for validity on arrival.
People with a negative PCR test do not have to be tested upon arrival at the port and do not need to isolate.
The negative pre-departure test must include:
- passenger's name and date of birth
- date the test sample was collected or received by the test provider
- name of the test provider and their contact details
- confirmation that the test is a PCR test
The test must have been conducted within 72 hours of departure on the final leg of the journey to Jersey, and must be in English or have an accompanying translation.
