Two further virtual public exhibitions have been launched as part of the Our Hospital Project this week.
They provide details on the demolition programme for the existing buildings at Overdale Hospital, and information on the plans to repurpose the former Les Quennevais School, St Brelade, as a temporary health facility while Jersey's new hospital is being constructed.
These exhibitions, which can be accessed via the ourhospital.je website, allow visitors to learn more details about these important parts of the project, as well as leave their feedback.
Both will remain open for three weeks, until Friday 9 July, to enable the Design and Delivery partner to take on board all of the feedback received ahead of the necessary planning applications.
The exhibitions will run alongside the main concept design exhibition, which is inviting Islanders to offer their feedback on the emerging designs, learn about the internal feel and flow of the hospital, and see how the building has influenced the creation of new gardens, public spaces and the benefits for the wider surrounding area.
To date, more than 1,400 Islanders have visited the concept design exhibition, and an Islandwide leaflet offering more details on the designs and promoting the virtual exhibition is being distributed to Island homes this week.
Chair of the Our Hospital Political Oversight Group Senator Lyndon Farnham said: "Islanders' input via the exhibitions and newsletters is helping the project team shape this important programme for Jersey.
"These crucial project milestones are relying on the public's input and I would encourage as many Islanders as possible to visit the exhibition and share their thoughts and ideas with the team."
