This is the first time that Islanders will be able to attend the vaccine centre for their first dose without an appointment scheduled.
Due to limited vaccine supply, the walk-in appointments will be provided on a first come first served basis. The walk-in appointments are strictly for those over 18 years old and is only for first doses. Islanders must bring their ID.
If Islanders wanting to receive their first dose cannot attend at these times, they are still able to book their first dose online or via the helpline to ensure they are guaranteed a vaccine at their chosen allocated time and day.
Head of the Vaccination Programme, Becky Sherrington, said: "I am pleased that we are able to offer Islanders walk-in appointments over the course of next week.
"Vaccine uptake, particularly among younger age groups, continues to grow but I understand that young people lead busy lives and cannot always commit to an allocated date and time, so I hope by making the extra effort to open the vaccine centre up in this way, it will make it easier for young Islanders to go and get their first dose. We have chosen these designated times so that Islanders can come straight after work during the week, or at the start of the day over the weekend.
"I'd like to remind Islanders that they can still book their first dose online or via the helpline and urge those who have not yet had their first dose to make use of the walk in week, or book an appointment to be guaranteed a vaccine and therefore a good defense against the virus."
