The Learning at Home website now includes a range of activities for children to do over the summer and deals from local eateries alongside offers from organisations such as Jersey Heritage and Jersey Sport.
Parents and carers are encouraged to check the Latest Updates section of the website for regular updates of the latest deals and activities.
Under the new Climate Change in Focus section, children can learn about the climate emergency by watching videos and taking part in various activities. Themes include sun safety, biodiversity, water pollution, waste, recycling, global citizenship, and active transport.
Minister for Children and Education, Deputy Inna Gardiner, said: “The Learning at Home website is full of great resources for children; if parents are looking for fun activities to keep children busy over the summer holidays, there is a list on the website ranging from activities such as making a bird feeder, to going for a walk through the Forgotten Forest.
“We want families to enjoy the summer and have memorable experiences, so there are a few deals on the Latest Updates section which I hope families will be able to benefit from.”
